Palwinder has 10+ years’ experience in director roles with Standard Chartered Pension Fund, Invensys Pension Scheme, Foyer Federation and Industry & Parliament Trust.  His legal career spans 30+ years’ working for a global bank (Standard Chartered Bank) and multinationals (Motorola, BTR / Invensys now Schneider Electric & Alstom) and an international law firm (Wilde Sapte, now Dentons). Leadership positions include Managing Director / Head of Group Legal for M&A and Corporate, VP & Regional Legal Director and Senior Counsel. Expertise in M&A, corporate and commercial transactions, legal advisory and leadership.

He represents HS Trustee as trustee of Safe Computing Pension Fund and the Marling Industries Works Pension Scheme and supports HS Trustees on a number of Corporate Sole Trustee appointments.

Palwinder is an Accredited Professional Trustee with the Pensions Management Institute and an Adviser with the Pensions Ombudsman.
